Prom is something I've been looking forward to almost my whole entire life. Wearing fancy dresses, driving a limo, taking pictures with my friends; I wanted it all. But seeing as how I'm a military brat there were a few compromises. For instance: my dress was a $40 last minute buy I found at a store the week before. The limo was me borrowing my dad's van and driving everyone around. The pictures? Well that was probably the only thing that turned out right. I definitely had tons of fun getting ready despite the false lashes catastrophe. I danced all night and made tons of trips to the chocolate fountain. Strawberries with chocolate? My guilty pleasure. From may not have been what I expected but I went with some of the most amazing people and I didn't regret one minute of it. (well, maybe the shoes. They kind of hurt my feet.)
